This section applies when the Android advertising and ad-free purchase features are made available. The free version may display one Google AdMob banner at the bottom of the home memo list; the editor does not display an ad. An active ad-free entitlement stops the app from requesting that banner.
Advertising and consent. Google Mobile Ads may process device and app identifiers (including the Android advertising ID where available), IP address, approximate location inferred from IP address, ad request and interaction data, and diagnostic information to provide and measure advertising. Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) processes consent choices and, where required, presents a consent form before ad requests. Where the UMP privacy options control is required, it is available in the app's Settings. The app checks whether ad requests are permitted before requesting an ad. See Google's advertising privacy information and Google Privacy Policy.
Ad-free purchases. Monthly auto-renewing subscriptions and lifetime non-consumable purchases are processed by Google Play. RevenueCat receives the app-specific customer identifier and store purchase information, such as product identifiers, transaction and subscription status, and entitlement information, to validate purchases, restore purchases, and determine whether ads should be removed. The app does not receive payment-card details. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy and Google Privacy Policy. Purchases can be restored in the app; subscriptions can be managed or cancelled in Google Play. Cancelling a subscription does not end its paid period immediately.
The ad and purchase integrations described here do not send memo titles or memo contents to AdMob or RevenueCat. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected].
OneShot Note stores memo content and folders on the device for its note-taking functions. Users can delete notes in the app and export or restore their own backup. The advertising and purchase SDK integrations do not receive memo titles or contents from those new features.
The app also uses Firebase Analytics and Amplitude for app-use events and sessions, Firebase Crashlytics for error diagnostics in non-debug builds, and Firebase Cloud Messaging for notifications. These services may process app and device identifiers, event and crash information, notification tokens, and technical data needed to provide those functions. See Google Privacy Policy and Amplitude Privacy Policy. If the user submits in-app feedback, its text and optional reply email are sent directly over HTTPS to Discord for support. The app does not use the feedback form to request memo content automatically.
Users can manage local notes and backups in the app, restore an ad-free purchase in Settings, manage or cancel a subscription through Google Play, and revisit advertising privacy choices in Settings when UMP requires that option. To request access, correction, or deletion of information handled by the app, contact [email protected]. Purchase records and SDK data held by Google, RevenueCat, Firebase, or Amplitude are subject to those providers' privacy and retention policies and may need to be managed with the provider.
OneShot Note data deletion requests: email [email protected] with the subject “OneShot Note data deletion request” and describe the feedback or optional reply email you want us to locate. We will review and respond to the request. Notes and folders are stored only on your device and can be deleted in the app. Feedback text and an optional reply email are sent to Discord; purchase records and SDK data held by Google, RevenueCat, Firebase, and Amplitude may be retained under those providers’ policies and may require their own deletion processes. We do not promise deletion of provider-held copies or a fixed provider retention period.
This policy was updated 2026-10-11. The Android advertising and ad-free purchase section applies when those features become available. For questions about this policy, contact [email protected].
